Eye Surgery Considerations@eye-think

Review

First of all, the director has a very academic style. And I liked that he also looks at functional nose issues. I could feel that he really thinks about the patient. The decisive reasons I’m not having surgery here are: 1. Costal cartilage is done under sedation anesthesia. It takes 4 hours, and they said they put you to sleep only a bit at the beginning and then wake you up. I think enduring four hours while awake would be too hard. 2. The director seems to prefer a semi-ski-slope nose. I want a straight-semi-straight line close to a straight nose, but he said that might make me look masculine and recommended raising the nasal tip more. But he also said if I want it, he would just make it straight. Still, looking at the reviews, there are many semi-ski-slope noses, so I don’t think I’ll necessarily do it here. Even so, he seems very conscientious, patient-centered, humane, and also equipped with expertise, so if I had a friend considering rhinoplasty, I’d probably tell them to go for a consultation.
