I finally went through with the... filial-piety cosmetic surgery.. lol... But well, calling it filial-piety cosmetic surgery is one thing.. I only paid for it... Mom went through all the hard parts.. and I feel like I didn’t do anything.. It wasn’t discomfort or pain that I experienced myself, but since I stayed by her side and watched the whole process, I’ll share what I saw... For about the first week, she seemed to feel some discomfort? difficulty? But after about 2 weeks, she didn’t seem to feel much discomfort anymore~ She had the surgery at ID, and received care including basic care and scar laser treatment~ They did ultrasound, radiofrequency, patch masks, scar laser, etc. Still, on the days she went in for care, I tried to go with her whenever possible...!! I’m not an expert, so I can’t explain exactly what I heard in detail, but what I remember is that they dissect layer by layer, pull the SMAS layer? Those kinds of expressions stuck with me. Honestly, we went to several hospitals for consultations, and the reason I liked the hospital where she had the surgery the most was that it was listed as a hospital certified by the Ministry of Health and Welfare, and from the outside the hospital looked really huge, but when you go inside, there is a separate lifting center, and the director said they only perform a fixed number of surgeries per day. Seeing things like that made me feel it was good that she could receive separate, focused care. These are before and after her surgery. The results were great, of course, but the recovery was honestly;; faster than expected, so I was surprised... She also had less swelling than I expected... If you look closely, there is slight bruising? slight swelling.. But seeing how the nasolabial folds, jawline, wrinkles around the mouth, and so on became firmer, I really think it was a good decision to have her get the surgery... The scars are barely visible too, right? That was what I worried about most, so I’m relieved.. I think the surgery turned out very cleanly ㅠㅠㅠ
