Two weeks ago, I had double eyelid surgery together with lateral lower canthoplasty and under-eye fat repositioning. When I smile, the lower front part of my left eye wrinkles and lifts up, so it looks strange. Is this because of the lower canthoplasty, or because of the under-eye fat repositioning? The clinic says it’s because the swelling is different on both sides and that we should wait a bit and check the progress, but I’m so anxious that it might be a side effectㅜㅜ Will it really get better with time? Also, I don’t know if the nerve under my eye was damaged, but I can’t feel sensation all the way down to my cheek. Is this also something that is temporarily normal for everyone?

은시기비 When you do under-eye fat repositioning, the epicanthal fold moves downward and the under-eye shape lifts, making the eyes look fox-like. Since you just had surgery and the tissue was cut open, the tissue is hardened, clumped together, and contracted right now. It will return with time.
