I’m in my early 30s now, and I had my first surgery in my early 20s. At that time, only the nasal bridge was too high and I didn’t do the nasal tip, so the nose shape looked awkward. In 2014, through a friend’s recommendation, I had revision surgery. I chose that clinic because I heard the director pursues natural, not excessive results. For the first surgery, I think they put about 3 mm of silicone in my nose. I’m not exactly sure. For the second surgery, they put 1 mm of silicone in the nasal bridge, and because my nasal tip was slightly upturned, I asked them to focus on lowering it. But honestly, I didn’t see much effect. If anything, my nostrils feel uneven, and I feel like my nostrils are more visible.
What I learned from having two nose surgeries is that you really need to examine everything carefully before doing it. I have an impatient personality, and once I set my mind on something, I would just decide, “Let’s do it here,” without even going for comparison consultations, so I did it all at one place. I’m thinking about revision surgery now, but this time I’m really going to carefully visit and consult at several places. Of course everyone probably already does this, but just in case, please don’t go to only one clinic like I did. Because you end up spending the money and getting a result you’re not satisfied with.
