From experience, I'm planning to go around to several places for consultations, and I've visited 3 places so far. None of them were bad, so I'm writing a review. My goal is ★ surgery at the end of May.. ★ I really want to find a place I like before then, but what they say is a little different at each consultation, so the confusion has started... ㄹㅂㄹ They take a CT scan, and the director explains the nasal structure well. While hearing explanations about things like bulbous nose and the columellar angle, they pointed out exactly what I wanted to change, so I trusted them a bit. Both autologous costal cartilage and donated rib cartilage are possible, but they explained that, based on my condition, autologous costal cartilage would be stable, and it was nice that they gave specific explanations about the scar location and recovery too. But they said if I wanted donated rib cartilage, I could use it. They said that no matter which material I choose, the person getting the surgery has to feel good about it. The line was also very similar to the feeling I had in mind. Honestly, for the design and surgery aspects, it was the best among the three. ㅈㅇㅌ They said they would make the line not too obvious, but that it would be okay to raise the nasal bridge slightly, and they suggested a feeling between straight-with-a-slight-curve and semi-ski-slope, but it was closer to natural than I expected. Because my septal cartilage is too small, and even if ear cartilage is used, it seems like there wouldn't be enough material, they recommended using costal cartilage. They said which type to use would be my choice. The consultant pressured me a bit to make a reservation, so it felt burdensome. ㅁㅎ Since this is my primary surgery, they told me to use donated rib cartilage. The director did talk about the bulbous nose and columellar angle, but the atmosphere felt like they were saying things as if they would reflect my opinion almost 100%..?? Rather than that being purely good, I also wanted to hear the director's opinion, so I was a little confused because they said everything was possible the way I wanted.. But I felt the nose design was pretty. They captured that flashy-natural feeling well. There was almost no talk about autologous costal cartilage, and the consultant also said donated rib cartilage might be less burdensome and told me to use donated rib cartilage. For photos, I mainly took screenshots of hospital reviews, and for questions, I wrote them in my notes app and showed them. Everyone did answer my questions well. Choosing the hospital feels harder than the surgery itself.. This kind of flow is okay, right?ㅠㅠ I'm still digging through reviews..
