A long time ago, when I was looking for eye surgery information, I searched around a lot, and since many people look for reviews, I’m writing one.
First, I’ll start by uploading my pre-op photos!
This photo is from around October last year, and you can see how far apart my eyes were.. - -
I went to about five clinics, and ended up having the surgery at a place my older sister introduced me to.
I didn’t really like how wide the distance between my eyes was, but after the director touched around the top and bottom of my eyes, he said the epicanthoplasty wouldn’t be able to open them up much.
It was disappointing, but I felt resistant to anything unnatural, so I went ahead as recommended. I had inline double eyelid surgery so that the double eyelid would only show toward the outer part, and also had ptosis correction.
I think the surgery took about 2 hours and 45 minutes including anesthesia. Before anesthesia, I asked the nurse, and she said it usually takes about 2 to 2 and a half hours on average.
Current
This is a photo I took while working part-time. My swelling tends to go down quickly constitutionally, so I don’t think I worried much about swelling.
After surgery, I did cold and warm compresses in order, and drank three packets of pumpkin juice a day. The major swelling was almost gone after a month.
I’m uploading close-up photos of just my eyes separately.. Do you think it turned out well ?? Please give me your opinions~
