40 Days After Soft Zygoma Reduction

It’s been one month and 10 days since I had soft zygoma reduction surgery. At first, I saw a review left here by someone else who had it done, and it seemed good, so I went for a consultation. But going to only one place made me feel a bit uneasy, so I went to consultations at 3 places. I felt uncomfortable about having screws fixed in my face, so I mainly looked into non-fixation methods (please don’t tell me it has to be fixation or anything like that. I already had it done!!) and chose the place I liked the most among them. First of all, after the surgery, aside from a slight headache and aching in my arm? there wasn’t any pain.. On the first day, there was no swelling or bruising.! But starting the next day, I began to swell and bruising also appeared. Day of surgery: no swelling or bruising Days 2~4: major swelling + bruising under the eyes Days 5~7: minor swelling + under-eye bruising disappeared This is how I recovered, and I heard bruises disappear really quickly if you apply bruise cream, but mine wasn’t that severe, so I just left it alone. The major swelling lasted 4 days, and if you don’t apply bruise cream, you can expect bruising for about a week. Of course, I’ve also seen many people who didn’t bruise. As for the effect, I had pretty severe 45-degree cheekbones, but from the point when the major swelling went down, the line was visible to some extent, and by week 2 my face had become much slimmer! After 1 month, even the minor swelling went down completely, and that’s when the face shape really became noticeably prettier.. But as more time passes, even though it seems like there’s nothing left to get slimmer(?) it keeps getting slimmer.. They say it can continue getting slimmer for as long as 6 months. When I looked into soft zygoma reduction, the thing I saw most often was that it looks natural. It is natural, but when you compare the before and after, the difference is big, so the effect is definitely there, and right now my face shape is exactly oval. It’s not an intense face shape where everything is pushed in excessively, like the overdone look you see on cosmetic-surgery apps. But managing what you eat after surgery is a bit hard.. I pretty much only ate porridge. They told me to eat it for 2 weeks, but I ate it for over 3 weeks.. because I felt aftercare was important.. In conclusion, I think soft zygoma reduction is the best option for people like me who dislike putting foreign materials in their body and want to do it safely. Above all, I think it would be good for people who want to see an effect even on the 45-degree cheekbones, and I hope you know that you do need to take postoperative food management into account to some extent! Everyone’s constitution is different, so please use my review only as a general reference.
