Review of natural adhesion double eyelid surgery + epicanthoplasty + fat removal

Surgery: natural adhesion double eyelid surgery + epicanthoplasty + fat removal [Reason for surgery] I have keloid-prone skin, so I had given up on double eyelid surgery and lived using double eyelid tape for 3 years, but at some point the tape stopped working well too,, I was so exhausted that I decided to get double eyelid surgery. (TMI: Because I’m keloid-prone, I was really worried about double eyelid surgery scars, and although it may vary case by case, there’s barely any scarring, not only on the line but also from the epicanthoplasty!) [Consultation]: consultant > director/surgeon > consultant When I went for the consultation, the wait wasn’t very long, and the consultant was very kind and pleasant. The director explained my eyes well, listened carefully to the kind of eyes I wanted, tried drawing the line several times, and only recommended exactly what was needed. [Surgery] They asked me to arrive 30 minutes before the surgery time. I changed into surgical clothing, took photos, washed my face, signed the consent form, and then finalized the line with the director. After the surgery, I did a cold compress in the recovery room for about 20 minutes, came out, heard the post-op precautions, and left the hospital. It didn’t hurt a lot during surgery, but I think it was when they were doing the fat removal(?) that it hurt a little, like they were pulling on my eye. [Anesthesia method] The anesthesia was done with local anesthesia after sedation anesthesia. [Pain after surgery] It didn’t hurt badly overall, but it hurt if I squeezed my eyes shut or touched them. Also, I’m not sure if it was because of the epicanthoplasty, but I got bruising on the part of my nose where the glasses nose pads touch, so that hurt a bit. But the pain when removing the epicanthoplasty stitches was seriously intense. It hurt so, so much ㅠㅠ [Swelling] I barely went for walks, and I worked really hard on cold compresses! (Until day 4, about 8 times a day) For sleep, only until day 2, I piled up blankets behind me and slept at a 45-degree angle. I drank about ten packs? of pumpkin juice. [Surgery progress] There was less swelling and bruising than I expected, and to be honest, I wanted an in-out line, but I think it turned into a low semi-out(?) line. But it’s pretty, so I’m satisfied.
