After looking up consultation reviews, people said not to just look at reviews but to set my own criteria, so I chose these three: a place famous for rhinoplasty / the doctor’s consultation detail / aesthetic sense!! I even specified the day of the week, so I waited about 3 weeks. Since it’s a famous clinic, I wondered if they might just look me over roughly like a large hospital, but they explained the surgical direction?? for the areas they thought would be good to improve and the areas I had mentioned first, and they accurately understood and explained what I wanted. The doctor’s reputation is already so well known that I thought waiting was only natural, but after the consultation and surgery, I felt it once again: it was worth the wait! Honestly, the recovery process was a bit hard.. hahaㅠㅠ When the packing was in, I couldn’t breathe well because of it, and since I could only breathe through my mouth, my throat was dry, and because of the swelling, it even felt like my intraocular pressure was going up for no reason? And I thought I’d feel better right after the packing was removed, but once it was out, air came in through my nose and I felt this oddly stinging? kind of pain. But maybe I got used to it or maybe it was healing, because at some point it got better? But among people who’ve had nose surgery, more people say they’re fine once the packing is removed.. so I’m kind of curious whether I was the only one who felt a little stinging? After a few days I couldn’t feel it anymore, so I didn’t ask the clinic separately. Maybe the tissue hasn’t fully softened yet, because when I move the area around my nose, it feels like the muscles pull a bit, and my philtrum doesn’t lift well either..... I’m waiting for it to loosen up quickly and look a little more natural. Even so, I’m still very satisfied with my rhinoplasty so far!!
