<Photo just taken - when looking downward><Photo just taken - when slightly opening my eyes><Photo taken on Saturday><Photo taken this morning with my eyes closed>It has been 4 and a half months, and when I open my eyes, the area above my eyes doesn't look sunken, but when I look downward or open them, a double crease forms and then releases, and it looks sunken. The sunken look started around 1-2 months, and around then a double crease started forming and then releasing. It is still like that. So I asked the doctor about this, and they explained it like adjusting the double eyelid larger or smaller? something like that, and said it would get better with time, but I don't think it will get better. It is already sunken, so does it even make sense that it would go back.. In the afternoon, a double crease forms and then releases, and I feel like with time the double crease will form completely. I'm so anxious, and fat grafting seems to have severe side effects, so I don't want to do it. Would it be okay if I have revision surgery.. I have other side effects now too, but I'm also really curious about this, so I'm asking.. Everyone, please ㅠㅠ If anyone has had a case like mine, please give me advice
빼빼로롱 I'm at two months now, and mine is like that tooㅠ I have protruding eyes and thin skin. Before surgery, the doctor did say I didn't have fat around my eyes, but they didn't recommend fat grafting, so I thought it must be okay and had the surgery. At the one-month mark, I told the clinic I had sunken upper eyelids. But they said it would improve, so I said, no, the swelling will keep going down, so how would it improve? Isn't it more accurate to say it will get worse? But they only kept saying it would improve;; Now at two months, when I'm tired or when evening comes, it looks like my eyeballs are about to pop out.. The problem is only one side is sunken, so once all the swelling goes down, my eyes will be completely uneven. I'm also a bit worried about fat grafting and don't want to do it because I feel like my eyes will become heavy, but if I'm not going to do fat grafting, then the other side would have to become sunken too. At this rate, even if I don't want fat grafting, I may have to do it..
재재수술은없다 [@빼빼로롱] Mine is only on the left side now too. The right side is okay, but only the left side is like that, so I don't know what to do
빼빼로롱 [@재재수술은없다] Hahahaha mine is only on the left tooㅠ The shape when looking downward and the double crease forming, all the symptoms are exactly the sameㅜ
재재수술은없다 [@빼빼로롱] But I think the eye asymmetry is more or less balanced. The problem is that only the left side is like that, and I'm also experiencing other side effects right now, so it's a bit hard..
빼빼로롱 [@재재수술은없다] What are the other side effects?
재재수술은없다 [@빼빼로롱] There are quite a lot of other side effects.. First, when I open my eyes, the double eyelid feels pulled and uncomfortable. It gets worse in the evening. When I reached 3 months, the inner front part of my left eye started hurting, and the pain and foreign-body sensation inside the eye became severe. Even when I went to an ophthalmologist, they said there were no sutures. The pain is gone now, but the foreign-body sensation at the inner front of my left eye is still there. So at the plastic surgery clinic, I got an injection in the double eyelid line to help it heal faster, but I think there may also be an injection mark. When I reached 4 months, my forehead started feeling pulled. When I looked it up, it said that with an incisional method, if the muscle?? or something like that is touched incorrectly, that can happen. I think they call that Muller muscle symptoms. Those symptoms appear when ptosis correction is done, but I didn't have ptosis correction.. I'm thinking about revision surgery now too, but it's really hard, and finding a clinic is difficult too ㅠㅠ
재재수술은없다 [@빼빼로롱] When I looked up fat grafting, it seemed like the side effects can be severe. If it goes wrong, it can become bumpy or sink again, they said.. I really don't want to do fat grafting..
빼빼로롱 [@재재수술은없다] Right, me too ㅠㅜ I really don't want fat graftingㅜ And that double eyelid shape itself means there isn't fat in the eyes, so I'm thinking maybe once the folded part of the double eyelid? the incised line fully heals later and the border of the line becomes lighter, the uneven look when opening the eyes drowsily or looking downward might decreaseㅜㅜ
재재수술은없다 [@빼빼로롱] You don't have any other side effects?? If so, that's really fortunate, but I'm scared that later the double crease will keep forming and releasing and then settle in place ㅠㅠ
빼빼로롱 [@재재수술은없다] I get the double crease too. When I wake up in the morning, it always forms. But compared with the one-month mark, the amount of time the double crease stays has decreased a lot. Instead, from the evening onward the sunken upper eyelid is severe, so to put it nicely, it's an eye hollow, and to put it badly, a sunken crease forms
재재수술은없다 [@빼빼로롱] Oh no..ㅠㅠ You're in a situation similar to mine.. I had mine done in Jeju. Did you have yours done on the mainland?
빼빼로롱 [@빼빼로롱] Forehead tightness is totally a ptosis correction symptom, but you're saying that happens even though you didn't have it done? What does the hospital say?
재재수술은없다 [@빼빼로롱] I haven't talked about it yet. For now, I'm going to wait until 6 months.. But it happens in the evening.. ㅠㅠ It's honestly a little hard. They say the line is okay, but ㅠㅠ why is this happening.. Was yours your first surgery too?
빼빼로롱 [@재재수술은없다] Mine was a revision!!ㅠ For now, I think it'd be good to save photos and videos of any visible symptoms!
재재수술은없다 [@빼빼로롱] I'm continuing to save them now! When my eyes feel heavy and I turn on the video, there's a double crease..ㅋㅎㅋㅎㅋㅎ Ha, these days it's hard even to look in the mirror ㅠㅠ Since yours is a revision and you're dealing with side effects again, it must be really hard..
