I’m on day 12, and because of blood pooling, I went to the hospital where I had surgery and had the blood drained. But from the moment it was done, when I touched it, it felt like they hadn’t drained it all. They didn’t drain it properly, just felt it roughly and said, “Lie down so I can drain it with a syringe,” and then just left... I’m scared this could spread into inflammation. So, my question is: Is it legally not allowed to have blood pooling removed at another hospital, not the one where I had surgery??!ㅠㅠㅠ I’m worried because they didn’t drain it properly.
성뽕 They probably won’t do it at another hospital. They don’t even know exactly how the surgery was done, so they may not be able to drain it carelessly. And since there’s room for problems, who would do it? ㅠㅠㅠ
입흐다 [@user] Right? ㅠㅠ They drained it so roughly that I’m scared it’ll keep pooling and cause inflammation. It’s really scary..
입흐다 [@] Ah, really??!ㅠㅠㅠ I’m honestly so relieved. I’m even happier to hear you’re doing well without any inflammatory reactionㅠㅠ I hope I’m like that too, but I’m worried. I’ll go tomorrow and ask the director to drain it one more time. But I feel so self-conscious around the director, so I’m scared.
익명 [@user] Mine is also a one-doctor clinic, so seeing the director is like picking stars from the sky lol. But there are cases where the blood needs to be drained, and cases where it can be left alone because it’s likely to absorb on its own.. What symptoms do you have right now?
입흐다 [@] When the blood first pooled, I had swelling, pain, and heat sensation. The heat sensation was especially severe, so it was hard. But even after the director left, I could still feel the blood pooling, and since I was scheduled to visit again the next day (today), I was going to ask them to drain it one more time. But looking at it today, the heat sensation is completely gone, and there is still some pain and swelling, so I’m going to ask them to drain it one more time.
이뻐지고싶다12 I also had blood pooling drained with a syringe, but even after draining it, it still felt soft, like it was filled with blood. And 2 days later, I went yesterday for a check, and they said the blood hadn’t filled back up and that it was okay!
입흐다 [@user] Really??? I’m so relievedㅜㅜㅜㅜ Today is the day I’m getting the costal cartilage stitches and the stitches inside my nose removed, so I’m scheduled to go in. I’ll ask again.
