Hi, I actually ended up joining this community and writing a post. I have absolutely no intention of promoting anything. If anything, I do not recommend it. I’ll explain why later. I’m currently 3 weeks post-op, and I’m going to record everything from the consultation up to today. I had been thinking for a while that I wanted breast augmentation after giving birth, because I was worried about breastfeeding or possibly affecting my child.. But they said that unless it’s a periareolar incision, it doesn’t touch the mammary glands, so there’s no effect. So I suddenly got a consultation and suddenly ended up having surgery. I barely did any online or offline research, and just picked a doctor on the app whose reviews I liked. One reason I didn’t do it before was that the breast augmentations I’d seen in the past looked like flashy Y-shaped breasts, so I thought they were obvious, but when I looked at photos these days, the UIU shape looked so pretty and like natural breasts lol. Plus, that doctor’s reviews only had photos like that, so I was tempted. But now that I look back, the price we know is something they ask for your acc1ount for, as if everyone already knows it; lol Can I say this here? If I get reported, I’ll delete it. So after already having the surgery and looking again now, it turns out ㄱㄴㅇㄴ, ㅂㅂㅌ, ㅇㅇㅇ and places like that are full of nothing but planted posts lol ha I’m not even sure whether those review photos were surgeries done by that doctor. I’m devastated lolol Consultation day First, I went for the consultation, touched the implants, and liked Mentor Xtra the most. I was connected directly to the doctor’s consultation, and when we looked at sizes, I was a 75B, but they said if I put in 375 cc, I could go up to an E. Without thinking much, I booked it saying, “Please do that.” The consultant unnie was very polite and attentive “at that time.” The doctor was a bit distant. When I asked questions, he answered like, “I suppose so?” “It should go well?” “It probably will?” Whether that was confidence or indifference, I think I’ll only know after more time passes and I see what state I’m in. Surgery day I waited in line at the operating room. I was so scared lol I thought I’d be lying in a hospital room, be anesthetized, taken in, and then wake up in the hospital room ㅠ lol Anyway, I walked in, had my arms and legs tied in a + shape, the anesthesiologist came and told me to breathe, and after the anesthesia, I woke up in the hospital room. I won the severe pain lottery. People say it varies by person and depends on the doctor’s dissection skill ㅎ.ㅎ As soon as I opened my eyes, I asked for painkillers, rested a bit more, and was discharged. I wondered if it was really okay to be discharged and whether I couldn’t just be hospitalized for a day.. But maybe the nurse was new, because she didn’t even know what V-bra size fit me, and I eventually went back in week 1 and changed it. The explanations and answers were extremely inadequate. Later, when I asked the counseling manager, she said all nurses in the breast center are experienced nurses, if that wasn’t a lie. If an experienced nurse did that, that’s not okay. The V-bra was so small that my breasts were compressed and the pressed areas turned red. The chest band size was also so small it was hard to breathe. Days 1-7 I rested for 4 days and went to work on day 5. Calf knots!! Why did nobody tell me lol Because I couldn’t raise my arms, if something was higher than my shoulders or felt far away, I had to stand on tiptoe. Now I know the reason, but at that time I wondered, “Is the swelling draining downward and causing knots in my legs?” lol So I used a calf massager a lot, but the reason was the tiptoeing lol I was already struggling because of muscle pain, and since even walking was hard, it was awful lol I’m amazed at how people with no one at home to help them endured this. My husband took care of absolutely everything for me.. Even now at week 3, my husband fastens the hooks for me lol Now, when I’m in a hurry, I do it myself. From week 2, I could fasten the hooks in front and rotate it around, but I deliberately didn’t overdo it. Everyone, how on earth did you manage the V-bra by yourself in week 1..? I couldn’t even lift my arms that much ㅠㅠ My husband helped me shower starting the next day. Showering itself wasn’t particularly uncomfortable. My husband also dried my hair. I absolutely couldn’t tie my hair by myself. This was genuinely flustering lol As if my husband had ever tied hair before, at first I looked totally disheveled and it was chaos. Now he ties it pretty well ㅠ lolol If I had been alone, I definitely would have had to go to a hair salon. I think I probably could have gone out around day 4. When I lie down, my husband supports me with his hand, and when I get up, I flail around like an overturned cockroach and can’t get up, so he has to push my back for me to get up. They told me to sleep flat on my back starting the day of surgery, so I just lay down and slept. People talked about cosmetic-surgery pillows and things like that, but I was scared of moving, so I slept lightly, and because it hurt, I couldn’t turn anyway. No need. Because I extremely hate getting burned by marketing lol I didn’t buy stretch mark cream either. I thought stretch marks happen because the skin stretches and tears because it’s dry, so I’m just applying Johnson’s Baby Lotion. So far, I don’t have stretch marks. Week 2 Honestly, week 2 passed so painfully that I don’t remember it well. Working was so hard. Since I couldn’t work like before, I felt helpless, and because I had to ask my husband for help every time, I felt sorry and became so depressed. I cried in front of my husband for the first time saying I regretted the surgery. I’m someone who had lived without knowing depression at all, so I was surprised because it was my first time feeling like that. I took the capsular contracture prevention medication for about 3 days, then stopped because I got breakouts on my chest. At my week 2 care visit, I asked the nurse, and she said breakouts of this degree were okay and told me to take it, so I started taking it again. Ah. The counseling manager really does not answer calls. There were times I called more than 10 times a day. No callback. When I went to the hospital next time and mentioned it, all they said was that they would make sure calls are answered better from next time. If I send photos of my condition and ask something, I get a reply 3 days later. Since I couldn’t wait 3 days, if I called the hospital in the meantime, they repeatedly gave parrot-like answers like “she’s in consultation” or “it’s her day off.” They do connect me to another manager, but would the answer be satisfying.. It’s only things like, “It’s okay, wait.” I guess it’s not wrong.. but psychologically, I felt anxious. Also. I was late for my care appointment, so I ended up being 20 minutes late. On the way, I called the hospital and asked them to let me receive care only for the time I had left, and said I’d go in if there was leftover time after waiting, but they said, “Ab!so!lute!ly! not! Make a new appointment for next week and don’t come today.” So if people come from another region or overseas and they’re late, they can’t receive care, have to go back, and come again next week? Of course, since I was the one who was late, I had nothing more to say. I’m telling you so you know this is what large hospitals are like^^ Week 3 I can live somewhat like a human now. The calf knots are gone too, and I bought scar patches and am applying them. The glue on the right side still hasn’t fallen off, why is this not coming off? Anyway, I only applied them to the parts where it had fallen off. Scar patches are expensive; I paid 35,000 won. I was going to buy ointment too, but that was apparently 25,000 won, so I only bought the patches. I can’t apply scar patches by myself either. If I cut them large and apply them, I could slap them on, but if I cut them large, it’s uncomfortable when moving, so when I try to cut and apply them exactly only over the scar, it’s hard to apply alone. Because the opposite arm can’t move that delicately all the way there lol What’s uncomfortable now is that I still can’t lift heavy things, and when I raise my arms overhead, I can’t get them close to my ears, so I end up a bit hunched. That’s about it.. My breasts are still tight. The upper fullness is insanely stubborn. It shows no intention of dropping.. I only took off the V-bra and upper band when eating and washing.. I wore them all the time except for about 2 hours a day, but maybe my tissue doesn’t soften easily; they’re really not dropping. They still look so much like bowls.. So I searched a bit and found something called tissue-softening cream. I bought it once, thinking I might as well take the bait. I’ll try it and share. It got long as I wrote.. Please leave lots of replies. I’ll upload photos soon too.
