I just wrote about my revision eye surgery, and now I’m here to write about my revision rhinoplasty... Since it’s revision surgery, I feel unnecessarily upset.... I had revision rhinoplasty with autologous dermis, and the reason I chose revision surgery was that even after my first surgery with silicone, my nose was still low, so there wasn’t much difference. So I chose autologous dermis because I thought the maximum height might be a bit higher with it. They harvested firm dermis from the crease area of my buttocks and put it into the nasal bridge, and used ear cartilage for the nasal tip. Even though my nose was in really unfavorable condition for surgery, I’m fairly satisfied. I really dislike noses that are only high, look unnatural, and look obviously surgically done.. In that sense, it looks natural, and since it uses something from your own body, there’s no reason for inflammation to occur at all, so I think autologous dermis is good. I sound like I’m worshipping it, but absolutely not, lololololol. My friends all want to do autologous dermis too. Of course, it costs a bit more than silicone. But since there’s absolutely no chance of inflammation.. When I first had surgery, I thought there was no external problem at all and only the height was the issue, but during surgery the doctor said the inflammation inside was no joke and that the surgery would take longer than expected.. So I think surgery using something from your own body, like fat grafting or autologous dermis, is better than silicone. Ah, if you have any other questions, I’ll answer everything I know!
