After I had surgery, a controversy came up and I was shocked at one point.. Still, the surgery people revise the most is nose surgery, but I’m glad that my shape has stayed well maintained so far and there are no problematic issues at all. Anyway, I had a very clear nose shape that I wanted, and I told them I definitely wanted to use donated costal cartilage. They said I had a short, low nose, but that they would still make it as close as possible to the height and shape I wanted, and it turned out so well that I really like it. The one bad thing is that the nostril shapes are very slightly different on both sides. It’s not that the sizes are different; the sizes are the same, but when I tilt my head up, the shapes are slightly different. And it’s slightly deviated to the left. During the consultation, they did say my nose was originally shaped like this, so they would straighten it for the surgery, but that it could later return to its original state. Still, it is noticeable enough in photos.
