I previously had surgery with a partial incision (fat removal) + epicanthoplasty + ptosis correction, but one side has come undone way too much, so I’m looking into revision surgery! I’m posting this for my own records + for everyone else to reference! The places I’ve visited for consultations so far are 1. ㄷㅂ(ㄱㄷㅂ) 2. ㅇㅇㅌ(ㄱㅈㅎ) 3. ㅂㅇㅇ(ㄱㅌㅎ) 4. ㅂㅂ(ㄱㅅㅇ) 5. ㅇㄷㅍ(ㄱㅇㅌ) They all followed the structure of consultation manager - director doctor - consultation manager. The structure was similar: write the chart, talk with the manager in the waiting room about my concerns, then the director doctor comes and checks my eyes, and then the manager explains the price again! 1. ㄷㅂ(ㄱㄷㅂ) I didn’t wait long for the consultation, and I think the consultation ended pretty simply. I went to ask whether a one-stitch buried suture method was possible, but they firmly said no and said it would have to be at least 5 stitches, so I only listened to the price explanation and left. They talked about doing both eyes with a 5-stitch buried suture method. One side alone is possible, but then it would be tied extremely tightly and would become uneven eyes again anyway, so they recommended both sides. One side 760,000 won Both eyes 1,080,000 won (price conditional on eye photo shoot + review on a medical app) (No pressure for a reservation deposit) (I didn’t ask about A/S ㅠ) 2. ㅇㅇㅌ(ㄱㅈㅎ) They said that for the look I want, to make both eyes in-out, I would need an incision. They said it’s not fat, so a partial incision wouldn’t help, and they would need to make an incision and reduce the muscle layer. They said it is possible with buried sutures too, but that I’d end up with sausage eyes ㅠㅠ Either do a partial incision and remove a little fat from the right side (they said my right eye has some fat, so even with the same line it looks puffy), Price: partial incision (145) + revision surgery (50) + fat removal (66) = 261, but discounted to 208 on the condition of posting monthly reviews at months 1, 3, and 6 If I want to lower it to match the left eye, that’s possible too. Buried suture (88) + revision surgery (50) = 138, but discounted to 108 After surgery, swelling care is available unlimited for 2 weeks. They said if I just revise it with buried sutures, I’ll get sausage eyes, and even with an incision, it won’t become as much of an in-out line as I want. They didn’t really mention ptosis correction. They kept asking if I had any questions. For removal of the existing sutures, they said they’ll remove them if visible, but by this point the sutures have mostly degraded, so looking for them is worse for the eye. So they said I can understand it as them not removing them. This place also requires consent for partial eye photography + review conditions. (At other places, they just checked it on the chart, but here they separately told me that I absolutely have to stop omega-3 before surgery. Does anyone know why? Please let me know.) (No pressure for a reservation deposit) (I didn’t ask about A/S ㅠ) 3. ㅂㅇㅇ(ㄱㅌㅎ) The lines are different: left eye 7 mm, right eye 8 mm. (They measured with a ruler and checked the millimeters very carefully.) My right eyebrow is raised higher. So the left side looks thicker. Even with the same line. They said the eyebrow will keep coming down, so to improve the thickness, I’d need a forehead lift, not an incision. (They said if I try to improve it with an incision, the distance between the eye and eyebrow will just keep getting closer.) Lateral canthoplasty wouldn’t have much effect on my eyes, and if I wanted lower canthoplasty, I could try doing a very small amount, but I already have a bit of scleral show, so even if I do it, it would only be a little, and they didn’t really seem to recommend it. In the consultation manager’s opinion, if I’m going to get a forehead lift later, they recommended not removing fat and just doing buried sutures. They said buried sutures can also come undone someday. Buried suture 1,400,000 -> 790,000 (VAT not included) End partial incision 500,000 -> 300,000 (VAT not included) Forehead lift (3,500,000 -> 2,100,000) (VAT not included) (It’s an event price, so I don’t know how long it will be maintained.) (Even if I do it, it will come down later.) They said that discounted price is conditional on posting reviews on an app + a forum + their website. (No pressure for a reservation deposit) (A/S 1 year) 4. ㅂㅂ(ㄱㅅㅇ) I didn’t wait long. As soon as I got there, I wrote the consent form on the chart and took photos. They took photos saying they use AI, but they didn’t really use them much to show me anything. They held the line for me, but there wasn’t a detailed explanation. They did hold the line several times. It took about 20 minutes from entering the consultation room to leaving! Natural adhesion 979,000 won Upper epicanthoplasty is 440,000 won. They said upper epicanthoplasty is something you do if you want a more open look, and if you’re okay with the front being covered, you don’t have to do it. They said aftercare and VAT were all included (they said it was exactly the event price on a medical app), and it was conditional on choosing either of two medical apps and posting a review. They said they’ll remove sutures if they’re visible, but they said they didn’t really see any. (No pressure for a reservation deposit) (I didn’t ask about A/S ㅠ) 5. ㅇㄷㅍ(ㄱㅇㅌ) As soon as I got there, I filled out the chart and took photos. They told me to write down the list of other hospitals I’d visited for consultations on the chart, so I didn’t write it for now (but while talking with the manager, I ended up telling her everything..ㅎ.ㅎ) When I said my eyes felt too intense, the director doctor lowered and raised the line and checked it well. They said the right eyeball is smaller and set deeper inward, so that’s why it feels intense. (The problematic eye that came undone and has thicker skin!) The manager was super kind. Good at sales. She explained things well even when I asked this and that. They said if I paid a reservation deposit now, I’d get a 200,000 won discount, but I left for now. There wasn’t major pressure. Based on the representative director doctor (they said it’s more expensive because there’s a designation fee) Partial incision and removal of existing sutures 2,500,000 Upper epicanthoplasty 700,000 Total 3,200,000 Discounted partial-review conditions A medical app / another medical app (weeks 2, 4, 6, 8) -> forum cafe (1 time at week 8) With the review event, 3,000,000 (they said 2,800,000 if I paid the same-day reservation deposit) Separate deposit 200,000 (they refund it back to your account if you come to take photos at 1 month and 3 months and check the progress) It’s sleep anesthesia, and swelling laser for 20 minutes (when I mentioned it, the manager said she’d add it as a service) (No pressure for a reservation deposit, but they did mention it) (A/S 2 years) (For A/S, they do line asymmetry or loosening, but simple design changes or dissatisfaction are no-no for A/S!) The last two places mentioned upper epicanthoplasty, so I’m debating it ㅠ The reviews are really divided ㅠ Scheduled consultations - ㄸㅋ(ㄱㅎㅅ), ㅍ(ㄱㄷㄱ)
