It has now been 31 days since my removal surgery.. I had the removal surgery a month ago... My current condition is that the overall impression is almost similar to before my rhinoplasty, but whether because of contraction, the nasal tip and nostril area are slightly twisted into an uneven shape, and the columella area still pulls a lot and is sunken in... Especially maybe because the rhinoplasty was done with an open approach, the area with the surgical scar is particularly more sunken in... For the removal.. I had it removed just 8 days after rhinoplasty because I hated the foreign-body sensation so much... My thinking was that if I removed it quickly, it would return to a shape similar to before rhinoplasty.. so I decided on removal quickly.. Now I am comparing while looking at photos from before rhinoplasty, and the overall impression looks similar.... But there is nothing I can do about the detailed parts... The nasal tip is still firm, and inside the nose too, is it scar tissue?? Those kinds of tissue are swollen, so even when I put in a finger, there is something blunt there... Especially this columellar incision area.. The removal was done closed, but the scar from the one incision, whether it is contraction.. is very sunken in.. For these contracted areas... later, around when all the contraction has released, will the columella area come down?? Can the shape of the collapsed nasal tip area become like it was before rhinoplasty?? On day 28, I went for a formal check to the hospital where I had the rhinoplasty and removal done (I had them at the same place...) They told me to come twice after removal, at one week and at one month... Anyway... But when I told the director about the crooked nasal tip area and the part sunken into the columellar scar, they said that even after the contraction releases later, it will mostly not change and will remain in the shape I see now... so I am extremely worried.... Even though it was an unattractive, low, short nose, I want to go back to my pre-surgery nose......ㅠㅠ Looking at my pre-rhinoplasty photos now, it looks pretty... Why does it look pretty only now.. I feel so pathetic... I go in and out of this community every day and read Maybe-nim’s posts almost as if I am studying them closely, but I am still so worried... It has now also been 13 days since I started taking Rizaben... The hospital does not really recommend Rizaben either, but they were like, since I had already bought it and it would be a waste of money, I should take it.... How much longer do I have to take it for it to soften, when will the contraction release.. will my nose shape return......... I have so many worries...ㅠㅠ For reference, I.... had a low and short nose, so I had 5 mm silicone on the nasal dorsum, 3 mm at the nasal tip with 3 layers of ear cartilage, and a septal cartilage columellar strut... Everything was completely removed..
