I had double eyelid surgery about 3 years ago. In my case, my eyes stick out a bit and my eyes themselves are not small, so the doctor recommended doing a thin in-line style. For people whose eye structure itself protrudes a bit, a deep double eyelid fold can become too heavy, they said. So they only made an incision in the front part with an in-line style. The line does not show when my eyes are closed, and when I open them, the fold can naturally extend toward the back. I am satisfied now, 3 years later. After the surgery, there was not much swelling, and I also had some complaints that the fold was too thin, but in retrospect, making it natural seems better. There are so many different methods for double eyelid surgery, so when choosing a clinic, I think it is better to choose one that designs a shape that suits each person’s face well rather than one that just insists on making it very thick!
