Eye Surgery Reviews@eye-review

2-year review of double-embedding double eyelid surgery - I worried it might come undone, but it’s still firm…

Since I was young, my uneven eyes made makeup difficult ㅜ and my face is on the larger side too, so I was really stressed. Then my parents said they would let me get double eyelid surgery, so I raised both hands(?) and cheeredㅋㅋㅋ When I first went into the clinic, I was nervous and didn’t know what to do. There were more people than I expected, but it didn’t feel crowded. The doctor was really coolㅋㅋ and concise, so he told me exactly what kind of eyes would suit me, and the consultation ended like that. I’m a scaredy-cat, so at first I wanted an inline crease, but he recommended an in-out line. The surgery took about 20 minutes? I think it was over in less than that, and the local anesthesia hurt a tiny bit, but other than the feeling of, wow, they’re flipping my eyelid, poking it, and doing something, I don’t think I felt much of anything. As expected, the doctor was cool, so aside from the occasional conversation I could hear, he didn’t talk much. He seemed very confident, so I felt reassured. On the way home, if I hadn’t gone with my dad it would have been a disaster; I came back totally dazed, like where am I, who am Iㅎㅋ I think the swelling lasted about two months, including the minor residual swelling. Since it was my first cosmetic surgery I was extremely nervous, but the aftercare wasn’t that difficult. I really used all kinds of aftercare productsㅋㅋ and even when sleeping, I paid a lot of attention and tried to sleep lying straight on my back. I also often did eye exercises, like looking upward? Thanks to that, the swelling went down pretty quickly, so new friends I made didn’t really notice I had done it. Now that it’s almost been 2 years, I’m so satisfied. I would have seriously regretted it if I had gotten an inline creaseㅎ... I think a big part of it is that my eyes now suit the mood I wanted. For people with an eye structure similar to mine, I recommend a not-too-high in-out buried-suture method. I worried a lot that it might come undone... I don’t know the future, but so far it’s still attached(?) well.
