Before (before surgery)
The partial buried-suture surgery I had 10 years ago came undone, so I had full-incision surgery at a hospital recommended by an acquaintance, and because the line was set high at the time, I lived with sausage eyes.
For full-incision surgery, the revision method seemed difficult and the chances of success looked low, so I was just going to live with the way I looked. But every time I closed my eyes, I could see the bumpy scars, and without makeup, anyone could tell they were eyes that had undergone double eyelid surgery. No, they were eyes from a failed double eyelid surgery.
In a review post, the director was called the “Apgujeong sewing machine,” so I went for a consultation, and since he specializes only in eye revision surgery, I trusted him even more.
(After surgery)
It was a simple surgery I had undergone several times before, but I was so nervous in case it failed or became even more obvious because it was my third surgery. But the director said, “I’m completely confident in this surgery! So don’t be nervous and just trust me,” and even if it was just a courtesy, that one sentence eased my nerves.
He examined everything very meticulously during the pre-surgery consultation and kept checking during the surgery as well. Among all the surgeries I’ve had so far, he was the most thorough. Right after surgery, there was almost no swelling. It has only been 3 weeks, but almost all the minor swelling is gone, and the line came out exactly as I originally wanted, so I’m satisfied.
I should have done it sooner.. After 10 years, I finally found my dream eyes. I absolutely don’t regret getting surgery from Director Park at Glovi!
(After one month)
There was no swelling, so I was worried it might become an inner double eyelid, but as time passes, it’s becoming more natural.
Since this is the period when scar tissue can rise, I asked during the progress check, and they said it would fade over time, but if I was still worried, I could come to the hospital anytime! They said it doesn’t just end because the surgery is over.. they’ll take responsibility until the endㅠ (I’ve never experienced a hospital like this before, so I was so touched. The director is the best..)
Before surgery, my scars were really severe, but with this surgery, I feel like the scars won’t remain, so I’m really looking forward to 6 months and 1 year later ◡̈
