Medial epicanthoplasty restoration, canthoplasty restoration

I’m one month post-op after medial epicanthoplasty restoration. 20 years ago, I had double eyelid surgery together with medial epicanthoplasty, and I had lived with a sharper-looking impression since then. Then I learned there was a surgery called restoration, searched around, narrowed it down to two clinics, had consultations, and ended up proceeding with the restoration. First of all, my eye shape has changed to look rounder, so I’m very satisfied with the change in my impression. The incised lines at the front are a little different on both sides, and one side developed a vertical wrinkle, which bothers me. When I asked the clinic, they told me that because it’s a surgery where the skin is cut and tied from the inside, as this scar tissue smooths out, the two sides should become a little more matched. So at one month post-op, I got a scar injection and decided to wait and watch a bit longer. They said they would continue managing the shape later, so I was also satisfied with the aftercare. It doesn’t show well in photos, but even at one month post-op, the scar tissue is still raised and bumpy, and there is still some redness. I’ll come back again at two months post-op.
