I went through an acquaintance’s introduction. Honestly, the director is not exactly the friendly type. But in my opinion, what does it matter if a doctor is friendly and attentive? As long as they’re not rude and their skills are good, that’s enough. I’ve been consistently getting Botox at intervals of about 6 months, and this is the first clinic that applied numbing cream for a Botox procedure. But after receiving it, I think I understand why. Unlike other clinics I’ve been to before, the injections were done very deeply, so it hurt quite a bit. To compare it, even though it was Botox, it felt like getting filler. haha (Those who have had both will know, but filler hurts more than Botox. So other clinics also just do ice packs for Botox, while for filler they use numbing cream or local anesthesia before the procedure.) And what I felt during both the consultation and the procedure is that you should definitely receive it from a specialist. Even if it’s just Botox, the skill itself of injecting carefully is different. The places I went to before were not specialists..ㅜ.ㅜ (For how to find a specialist, type “Korean Association of Plastic Surgeons” into an internet browser. For dermatology, search “Association of Korean Dermatologists.”) In terms of distance from my home, it isn’t far, but the transportation is complicated, so it is a bit inconvenient to go there. Still, I thought it was a clinic I could trust. Anyway, I only get it twice a year, so I plan to keep going here from now on.
