Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redo

For those who had support pieces inserted, did anyone have them removed without open surgery…

I asked other hospitals too (3 to 4 places), and they said that if a support piece was used, they would do it as an open procedure to remove it more accurately. But I saw somewhere that if it’s done open, scar tissue forms more severely, and anyway it’s not good (aside from the scar). But the doctor who did the surgery also said you definitely don’t have to do it open... Is that because the surgeon knows exactly how it was done? Like, saying there’s no need to do open surgery...?

I’m currently thinking about removing the silicone cartilage support piece, and I’m wondering if anyone had it removed without open surgery~ At another hospital... Also, when you went to the hospital, did the doctor recommend an open procedure, but did anyone still have it done without opening?
