Eye Re-Surgery@eye-redo

Please give me advice on the recovery process after incisional surgery!

I had incisional eye surgery as a revision surgery, and they said the surgery went well. People around me also said it turned out well, even though there is still swelling. I also think the line came out cleanly and well, so I am just waiting for the swelling to go down. It has now been about 24 days since surgery, and I am heading toward one month. But the swelling has not gone down since after 2 weeks, so it is the same.. Then, starting last week, my right eye actually got a little more swollen. It is not a lot, but it is swollen enough that I feel like my eye does not open all the way when I open it, and enough that other people can tell the right side is more swollen. The eyelid under the eye incision line is swollen. But there is no heat sensation, redness, or pain, so it does not seem like an inflammatory reaction either. I asked the hospital, and they asked whether it is an eye that often gets styes. I said no, so they told me to just wait and see. Has anyone had swelling go down and then have more swelling appear again in the middle!!? It is the 3-week point, when swelling should be going down quickly, and I have to return to work now, so I am worried and asking. The degree of swelling after incision is about the amount of swelling remaining at week 1-2. I have been doing a lot to reduce swelling, like walking, pumpkin porridge, etc.
