Review of my first rhinoplasty using autologous costal cartilage

I had rhinoplasty with Director Kim Hyun-joo at RU. It was my first rhinoplasty, and autologous costal cartilage was used for the nasal tip and silicone for the bridge. I also had bulbous nose correction, short nose correction, and alar reduction together. I had always wanted my short, low nose to improve, and I didn’t like that my nostrils showed from the front. I wanted a nose line that addressed the things I didn’t like about my nose, the nasal tip height, and that round yet compact? look, and that would suit my face in a refined, natural way so my nose wouldn’t look separate from the rest of my face. Director Kim Hyun-joo carefully checked the design even before surgery, and she explains things easily while showing before-and-after photos of rhinoplasty cases similar to mine. After surgery, whenever I asked about things I was curious about through the clinic chat or to the consultant, they responded quickly, which was nice. I like that my nose, which used to look wide, has definitely become smaller. There are no problems in daily life, and when people around me say it turned out well and ask for information, I feel satisfied too. It means the surgery went well, haha... Even my friends now often say they want to get it done at RU. In the early days after surgery, my father even said, “Isn’t it too high?” and told me to get revision rhinoplasty, but now it has settled naturally and prettily.
