<Before><After>I had both my first eye surgery and revision surgery at local plastic surgery clinics. The lines were uneven + I was left with a severe incision scar on one eye. In this state, around the end of last year I looked into clinics, got a recommendation, and even went for a consultation, but I was shocked when I was told my eyes couldn't be operated on, so I just received the diagnosis and left. The condition was also serious. I decided to erase that ridiculous thought from my mind, barely took photos, and didn't look closely in the mirror either. While thinking I should go for consultations, I kept only skimming reviews from people who had succeeded in lowering their lines. I had heard that double-line lowering is a truly difficult eye surgery, and that if it isn't done at an eye-specialized clinic, the scarring could be left even worse, so I gathered information here and there and carefully looked for a clinic. As a result, I have now had surgery with dual canthoplasty + epicanthoplasty + fat removal, and it's been one month. In the case of the first surgery clinic, I heard during the consultation that because the double eyelid was made again above the line that had been attached during the revision surgery, the eyelid fat was riding over it and pressing the line down even more. I don't really understand it, but after hearing that, personally my confidence had dropped a lot. I think everyone probably knows what I mean. Depending on the case, they said it wasn't that they hadn't tried it, but that surgery was possible, so my mom and I said maybe we should go consult at another clinic again next time, but that day I immediately made up my mind, "Let's get surgery here." They said surgery was possible, and for the first time someone talked about surgery for my eyes. The line itself isn't visible based on the eye where the line used to be thick, but on the side where the line was thicker, the line is slightly visible. Because I was anxious, I can't even count how many times I looked at posts from people and asked whether the surgery was done well. If it were me, I think I would also have just felt reassured about the consultation eye. I didn't expect this much improvement from eyes that were said to be impossible to operate on. Even the place that said my eyes couldn't be done said they couldn't perform this level of surgery on eyes like mine, so for people like me who have heard that their eyes are extreme cases or difficult eyes, don't give up, go around for consultations, and choose a clinic carefully! There really are clinics that can succeed.
