I’ve been getting it consistently since my early 20s, and now I’m in my late 20s. At first, I had a lot of concerns, and Korean Botox somehow felt a bit questionable to me, so I always got Allergan. After getting only Allergan for almost 3 years, the cost was an issue, and the reviews for Korean products seemed pretty good too, so for about 2 years I got Korean Botox. Some people say they don’t feel much difference between Allergan and Korean products, but I felt a noticeable difference, so since last year I’ve gone back to Allergan.
As the years of Botox built up, even without getting procedures for a long time, the effect of reducing the masseter muscles was pretty significant. But after switching to Korean Botox, it felt like my jaw muscles started coming back faster, and the correction on both sides didn’t seem to be done properly. Of course, for things like muscle shape, the doctor’s skill probably has an effect too..
When I first started getting Botox, the effect was really so good that I heard so many people say it looked like I had lost weight. Now the effect isn’t like that anymore, but after getting it long-term, I definitely feel like the jaw muscles come back less and the asymmetry on both sides has improved a lotㅋㅋㅋㅋ At first, I almost always got it every 4–6 months, or got a repeat procedure after one month, but now it seems to last about 9–10 months. I’m a case where Botox worked really well, so I always strongly recommend square jaw Botox to people around me who are considering itㅋㅋㅋ
