<Before surgery><1 month after surgery, photo taken at lunchtime>I wrote a 2-week review, and now I’m here to leave my 1-month review. To summarize briefly, I only had ptosis correction + epicanthoplasty, and for the line, I raised it one step higher? from the lowest option. (People usually remember it in mm, but I just judged it intuitively while looking, so I’m not really sure.. I plan to ask when I go to the clinic next time.) To summarize my thoughts too, I’m really satisfiedㅋㅋ At first after the surgery, the eye line looked too much like a visible double eyelid, so I was low-key scared. Everyone said that’s how it normally is, so I thought it would get better~ but I was still a bit anxious. But I could see the line gradually coming down, and now it has lowered to a pretty satisfying level. Even when photos are taken in daily life, I can see that my eyes look clearly more defined, so I feel good. Even if I went back to one month ago, I think I’d still get the surgery. - It’s not that I disliked having monolids, but my ptosis was a bit severe, so I was worried about forehead wrinkles. While looking into ptosis correction, I thought it would be good to add a cosmetic procedure too, so I started researching clinics online. Among them, I chose Gonggan because I liked that they asked about the look I wanted and then explained the surgical process. It had been hard for me to properly understand the plastic surgery process itself, but after hearing the explanation, it made logical sense, and I became sure about what direction I wanted to improve my eyes in. I read almost every post while researching male plastic surgery, but I hadn’t seen this tip, so I’ll leave one of my own. When they set the eye line, they do it with the forehead fully exposed, so it may be hard to get a sense of how your face will change. I told the director about that concern, and they let me lower my bangs while the line was held, so I could see the changes to my face more specifically. If you get a consultation for eye surgery, men should definitely ask about this. One week after surgery, I was satisfied as soon as the stitches were removed. There was still a little bruising, but I got through a lot of it with warm compresses + bruise cream. By week 2, I could live normally, and people meeting me for the first time didn’t even notice I’d had surgery. But at that time, it still felt awkward because my eyes had suddenly changed to look like visible double eyelids, so I wore non-prescription glasses when going around. Now at one month, I go around bare-faced like before without glasses. In the morning there is still a slight visible double-eyelid feel, maybe because of swelling, but by afternoon the swelling all goes down and I can live with a complete inner double-eyelid look. So I’m waiting more for months 2 and 3ㅋㅋ If you have any questions, leave them. When I have time, I’ll answer in as much detail as possible.
