I had a hump nose, and my surgical method was a bit unusual. They used costal cartilage in particle form and injected it with a syringe, shaping it like clay? That’s how they did everything from the nasal bridge to the nasal tip haha. But the nasal tip was raised way too much, and the foreign-body sensation was no joke, so I had it removed. I had the removal done at a different hospital haha. Because it was such an unusual surgical method, I got rejected a lot when I went to Seoul asking them to remove it haha. Then I had it removed with an open approach at a place in my area that’s known for doing noses well haha. Since it was an unusual method, it could only be done with an open approach haha. When I saw the support strut, they had raised it so much ㅠ
In conclusion, my nose is stinging and painful right now, but honestly it feels so relieving haha. The shape is.. ㅠㅠ I’m just praying hard that it comes back wellㅠㅠ I will absolutely never touch my nose again. Unless it turns into a completely extreme pig nose or becomes deformingly strange, I think I’ll just live with my hump nose now..^^ They say it almost never becomes lower than the original height, so that’s the only thing I’m hoping for hahaㅠㅠ I asked the removal hospital director this and that, and the director said that sensitive people like me really shouldn’t get cosmetic surgeryㅠ Anyway ㅜ everyone getting removal, please stay strong, and I’ll pray that all of our noses, including mine, come back well to how they were haha
