About 20 years ago, I had double eyelid surgery + medial canthoplasty, and I was under a lot of stress because of depressed scars, hook-shaped scars, and multiple double eyelid folds caused by those scars. One day, through YouTube and blogs, I learned that procedures called medial canthoplasty restoration, medial canthal reconstruction, and revision medial canthoplasty existed. After a lot of searching, I chose Director Kim Geun-sik at a plastic surgery clinic in Gangnam. The overall atmosphere of the clinic was warm. Everyone, from the front desk staff to the consultation manager, was kind, so although there was a bit of waiting time, I did not have any major complaints. Because it is a clinic with one director, I could understand the waiting time, and I also liked that the director gave me a detailed consultation. On the day of surgery, the procedure was performed after sleep anesthesia followed by local anesthesia around the eyes. When I was waking up from the sleep anesthesia, I felt cold and my body shivered, but I remember feeling much more stable because the nurses warmly held my hand^^ After surgery, they gave me an ice pack, and I consistently applied the prescribed ointment as instructed in the guide they gave me. When about 1 month had passed after the surgery, there was a little surgical scarring, but I was so happy because it could be covered with makeup!! I am not particularly worried because it will gradually fade more as time passes. The line that used to form multiple folds when I opened and closed my eyes has settled into one line, so I am very satisfied with that too ㅠㅠㅜ Honestly, even after the surgery, I had been very worried about what I would do if the line still formed multiple folds..!! I am so satisfied that I wonder why I only found out about this and had the surgery now.
