This is my first time writing a review. Actually, I had just written one and lost it all ㅠㅠ I'll gather myself and try writing it again! First of all, my case was extremely tricky and difficult. My nose was very upturned too, so I was told it probably couldn't be brought down 100%. Keeping that in mind, I went onto the operating table without huge expectations, just hoping it would be better than before. Maybe that's why my satisfaction is even higher. Actually, I had written a really detailed review weighing all kinds of pros and cons, but I can't remember it well nowㅠㅠㅠ
To roughly summarize, I had surgery using donated costal cartilage, and I did not have silicone or any implant inserted. I needed my nose to be lengthened as much as possible and supported, but I was told ear cartilage or other cartilage would be too weak and probably couldn't properly serve as a support strut. And as for placing silicone on top, it was 4 years ago so I don't clearly remember why, but from what I vaguely remember, I had a bit of a hump, so it would have needed to be shaved down before placing it, and they also said silicone might not settle properly on top of the donated costal cartilage and could move around on it. Anyway, so originally we were only going to lengthen the nasal tip, but after surgery I ended up with a slight nasal bridge. The doctor said he made a bridge with the leftover donated costal cartilage after lengthening the tipㅋㅋㅋ (to be precise, it was only placed in the area between the eyes) Thanks to that, I think I got a more natural line!
The advantage is that because no silicone went in, it looks very natural. Most people don't even notice that anything changed on my face! But that also means it is not the perfect, pretty silicone-type nose. And most importantly, compared to my old nose, it came down so much!!!!! You can still see my nostrils from the front and side, and other people might still think it is a very upturned nose, but I live quite satisfied with it. And I had already been told by the doctor beforehand that it couldn't come down 100%, so I was okay with that.
While talking about the pros, I ended up mentioning the cons too haha The downsides are that my nasal tip is blunt and slightly crooked. I was told about this beforehand too, but when it actually turned out this way, I felt upset ㅠㅠ And since the nasal bridge was not silicone but something the doctor made (?) on the spot, it is so thin that sometimes I feel it doesn't match the overall nasal line and symmetry. It looks different depending on the angle and lighting, but overall, should I say the tip looks bigger than the bridge... I currently live abroad, so it is difficult to go for revision surgery consultations or postoperative visits. When I go to Korea soon, I'm planning to stop by once and get a consultation.

Like after one week, after one month, and so on. A nose like mine really causes a severe complex...
