Nose Surgery Reviews@rhino-review

I had nose revision surgery with autologous costal cartilage without making it obvious I had cosmetic surgery

<Before surgery, and because there was a step-off on the nasal dorsum, it looked deviated><After surgery, and this is recent>I had my first surgery 7 years ago with a closed approach, but my nose shape didn’t come out the way I wanted, so I got revision surgery this time. This time, autologous costal cartilage was used, and since I’m often abroad, I can’t freely visit the clinic like everyone else, so I was really worried about recovery. I was worried the pain would be as uncomfortable as my first surgery or even worse, but it only stung a bit for about 2~3 days, and after that it was tolerable. I deliberately went to a clinic specializing in revision surgery, and I think that was the right choice. Also, since I went from closed to open approach, I was worried about a columellar scar, but it’s not noticeable enough to worry about, so once more time passes, it’ll probably be barely visible. Unless someone stares intently only under my nose, I don’t think they’ll know. There was quite a lot of swelling until week 1, and especially when I touched it, the nasal tip felt firm, so I was anxious. From week 2, the bruising faded and the swelling noticeably decreased, and after 3~4 weeks, the shape settled pretty well. After more than a month, overall it feels much more refined, but moving my philtrum is still uncomfortable..... I want to be able to blow my nose comfortably soon lol. The line isn’t extremely obvious, it just feels naturally refined? That was exactly the direction I wanted, so I’m satisfied. My husband does ask whether I had surgery too subtly, but from the consultation stage, when I asked them to adjust it like this, this was what I requested, so I like it. Actually, I think doing it this way will let me live with this nose even 10~20 years from now. I’m just relieved that it seems to have been tailored well to my own style.. lol
