Before surgery, I had a high nasal hump, and my nose was large and wide. My cheekbones also protruded, making my facial shape look uneven, and I was concerned about my anterior chin and square jaw making my face look large, so I decided to have surgery. For the nose, I had “hump correction, lateral osteotomy, droopy nose correction, and nasal tip cartilage suturing (using a septal support graft).” For facial contouring, I had 3 types: “square jaw, cheekbones, and anterior chin (cortical bone reduction, masseter reduction),” and it has now been a little over 3 months. The swelling in the surgical areas is continuing to go down, and recently most of the major swelling has almost all subsided. After surgery, my hump nose improved, and people around me have told me a lot that my nose turned out really well. For the contouring, they say my previously uneven facial lines have been refined and that my impression looks better. The hump nose that was my biggest complex has become the area I’m most confident about after surgery. I definitely had some worries before the major swelling went down, but as my face gradually settled, I feel like I made the right decision having surgery.
