A lot of people have been asking for a review of soft zygoma surgery, so I’m posting it all at once! It’s been exactly about 3 months for me.
First, they call it a 3-day recovery, but in my opinion, I don’t think it’s really 3 days lol. I think you can just consider it as recovering faster than other places..!!
I had major swelling on day 3.... and from day 5, it went down really quickly. So from then on, I went to work and met friends too lol. I saw some people who had bruising, but I didn’t bruise.
Instead, right after surgery, one side of my cheekbone looked quite severely bigger ㅜ So I got really startled and kept texting the manager, and she said it was temporary swelling.. But it really suddenly disappeared at some point.. If this happens to you at first like it did to me, I don’t think you need to be too shocked.. lol haha
I didn’t have much of a jaw/chin, and my style was only cheekbones protruding. Now I think I’ve just become a soft oval face? Rather than people dreaming of a doll-like face shape!?? I think this surgery suits people who want natural slimness! lol
And I thought once the bones fused, that was the end, but they said zygoma surgery originally takes time until the bones become solid. So after surgery, I ate as much soft food as possible and almost didn’t do anything that would strain my face!!
I also read a lot of posts here and stuffㅜ Honestly, even if you think about it a hundred times and search around, there’s no clear answer... If you focus on reviews between surgical reviews vs surgical method, then it makes sense to keep searching around here;;; But if the surgical method is important to you, I think the answer is to go to many consultations and ask in detail how they perform the surgery!!
Anyway, I recovered quickly (though not in 3 days..), saw results, and because they didn’t make many incisions, I think it’s safe!! If you have questions, I’ll answer based on what I experienced lol
