I still haven’t had the stitches removed, but my eyes won’t close, and the front looks blurry. My vision is really bad too. At first they said it was because of the eye ointment, so I thought that must be it, but even when I apply only a little eye ointment, and even after several days pass, my vision is still bad (I had LASIK, so it was around 1.0). The lines also seem uneven, and putting that aside, the shape of the inner corners of my eyes looks strange too. I feel like I’m going to lose my mind. Everyone, please tell me how it looks to you. I’m so anxious right now, and I want to go back to before I had my eyes done.

Around the time the stitches are still in, the epicanthoplasty usually feels like it’s being pulled too much, but after 6 months it becomes natural, and I actually felt a bit disappointed. Once the stitches are removed, the swelling goes down rapidly and the line gets better too!! I don’t know the reason for the blurry vision either, but I had that too!!

당콩콩 Everyone thinks that way in the very early period after getting it done. Also, the left and right eyes are naturally shaped differently, so perfect symmetry can’t come out. The swelling also doesn’t go down exactly the same on both sides, so that uneven feeling can’t really be helped. In the photo, the overlapping crease on the upper part of the left side is a bit concerning, but it does seem like the line was set high compared with your original eyes. But it could be because the stitches are pulling, and for now there’s nothing you can do until the stitches are removed, so you have no choice but to wait.
