Day 5 after double eyelid surgery: eyes won’t close, epicanthoplasty feels excessive, eye shape looks strange

As someone who has had double eyelid surgery three times, I think it looks clean and well done?? Around the time the stitches are still in, the epicanthoplasty usually feels like it’s being pulled too much, but after 6 months it becomes natural, and I actually felt a bit disappointed. Once the stitches are removed, the swelling goes down rapidly and the line gets better too!! I don’t know the reason for the blurry vision either, but I had that too!!

Everyone thinks that way in the very early period after getting it done. Also, the left and right eyes are naturally shaped differently, so perfect symmetry can’t come out. The swelling also doesn’t go down exactly the same on both sides, so that uneven feeling can’t really be helped. In the photo, the overlapping crease on the upper part of the left side is a bit concerning, but it does seem like the line was set high compared with your original eyes. But it could be because the stitches are pulling, and for now there’s nothing you can do until the stitches are removed, so you have no choice but to wait.

But my left eye was originally a bit sleepier-looking, so if there was going to be overcorrection, shouldn’t it be on this side..? I also keep wondering why it’s the right side... Did you do it with an incisional method? Aside from the overlapping crease on the left side, I think it looks okay.
