Does double eyelid surgery come undone easily even with the incisional method?

The incisional method usually doesn't come undone, does it??

[@Miniungz] Right, I knew it that way too, but I saw a post saying the doctor there personally said it could come undone easily.. I am going there next week to consult around, but I suddenly got curious whether that can really happen.

Incisional usually doesn't come undone, but they say eyes that are prone to coming undone will still come undone. I don't really know either whether that's because of the eyes themselves or because they didn't remove much fat during surgery?

[@Itteok] Aaaah!! There are even eyes that are naturally prone to coming undone, life really is a lottery lol. I should ask while going around to several places..

I had it done with the incisional method, and no matter whether I rub my eyes, pinch them, or do anything, it's exactly the same. Maybe it comes undone if the fixation is weak..? Or maybe it differs by eye.

I had incisional double eyelid surgery twice, but it came undone I think the director's aesthetic sense and attention to detail are important.

Mine is incisional, and the line is still there exactly as it was, you know? But this time I went for a revision consultation, and the director said, 'You can consider this as having come undone.'

Incisional has a lower chance of coming undone than non-incisional suture burial, but if it's overcorrected, there are cases where it actually comes undone!

[@Dudidu] Mine went down quickly. From about 2 weeks on, it just looked natural.

As far as I know, the incisional method is the least likely to come undone.

I know incisional double eyelids usually don’t come undone easily, but rubbing your eyes is bad for double eyelid surgery.

[@Yangmogeon] I had it done when I was young, so I didn’t know any precautions and just rubbed my eyes carelessly haha By the time I learned that rubbing makes them come undone faster, they had already started coming undone..
