When most people say they’re getting nose surgery, they do care about the bridge, of course, but they usually pay a lot of attention to the nasal tip too. Honestly, even when I looked through reviews, there were a lot of cases like severe bulbous nose or severe hump nose. But it was rare to find someone like me, whose nasal bridge was basically completely absent from between the brows. On top of that, I also had congenital rhinitis, so both the shape and the rhinitis made my nose the part of my body I disliked the most. My nose was small and my skin was on the tight side too, so even during consultations, they told me my nose had a somewhat low ceiling? Like there were limits? And since I had to fix the rhinitis on top of that, I felt really lost, sigh.... I think the time when I was researching this clinic and going to consultations was honestly the hardest. Still, maybe because I searched carefully and paid attention, toward the end I found a place that could use a custom implant to define the area from between my brows through the bridge as much as possible, and that was also professionally capable of functional rhinoplasty, so I had a consultation and got surgery there. Maybe because I put a lot of thought into it, the result came out much better than I expected lol For now, since I’m only at week 2, there is still a little swelling and scarring left, but I think it’ll be really pretty once everything goes down. As for my rhinitis, even though the swelling inside my nose hasn’t fully gone down yet, breathing is already much more comfortable than before surgery lol From now on, the aftercare is up to me.. so I’m going to work hard to take good care of it!
