I’ve always been the type whose nasolabial folds stand out when I smile, but when I was younger they were expression lines, so they didn’t bother me much. As I got older, from some point they started to show even when my face was still. My workplace is near Gangnam Station, so I looked into a few dermatology clinics nearby. I found a place that doesn’t advertise at all, but the director is famous for filler procedures, so I just trusted them and got the procedure. They applied numbing cream and even did cooling anesthesia, so it wasn’t as painful as I expected. Just a slight throbbing. The nasolabial folds did soften, but honestly it wasn’t that dramatic. Since it’s an area that moves a lot, the filler tends to fade quickly. Personally, I think satisfaction would probably be higher the more severe the nasolabial folds are and the more filler volume is injected.
