I went for double eyelid surgery consultation and they recommended the buried-suture method. Since another place also recommended buried sutures, I felt that this doctor must be honest too. But one thing that was uncomfortable was that the manager? the person at the counter? sat behind us during the consultation. Then right after the line marking, they suddenly got up, came over to our side, and seemed to want to end the consultation. They kept urging me twice, saying they would explain the rest and to ask me instead.. In the end I couldn’t really ask what I wanted and left feeling rushed. In the manager consultation room, the only thing they told me was the price, and when they said to ask anything I wanted, I asked what happens to the thickness above the eye if I get double eyelid surgery, and they said to think of it as the same as the line they just marked, and asked if I had no other questions. We’re not going to a consultation just to have the line marked.. Things like how the thickness of the upper eyelid fat changes if I get double eyelid surgery, and what kinds of things can happen after the surgery, are all things I need to think about carefully because plastic surgery is something you can’t reverse once you do it. I think there should be enough consultation with the doctor who will actually perform the surgery, but it seems the manager doesn’t care much about the patient’s feelings. The doctor alone being kind and professional and pursuing safe surgery doesn’t mean much when the manager’s attitude is like that ㅜㅜ Since several reviews also mentioned the manager trying to end the consultation quickly, it seems they need to correct that.
++ I went back for a second consultation and was able to ask the doctor everything I had been wondering about!! Thankfully, there was no rushing during the second consultation.
