It’s been exactly 4 months since I had my eye and nose surgery together ㅜㅜ To put it simply, it was a complete failure.
For my nose, I had cartilage repositioning + ear cartilage + silicone. Right up until going into surgery, I kept emphasizing that it didn’t have to be high, and that I wanted it to look natural and not obvious. But after surgery, they told me they had inserted 4 mm ㅜㅜ When I had consultations elsewhere, they said around 2 mm would be enough... I regret so much that I didn’t do it there ㅜㅜ (At the hospital where I had the surgery, during the consultation before surgery, I asked how many mm they were planning to insert, and they said they would choose from different silicone shapes and insert one that suited me, so I trusted them and went ahead.) When the splint came off, my immediate feeling was, “Ah, this is ruined...” The silicone goes all the way up to where my eyebrows are, so my glabella is extremely high and it feels like my nose starts from my forehead ㅜㅜ ha... So now I’m really debating whether to wait until 6 months and remove the silicone completely, or replace it with a thinner one. The silicone is also a bit crooked. Even if I try to remove everything, since I had cartilage repositioning, I don’t think it will go back to how it was... ㅜㅜ Ah! My nostrils also became uneven ㅜㅜ If I take the silicone out, will that improve a bit?? (For reference, my eyes had the epicanthoplasty done way too aggressively, so I’m also looking into epicanthoplasty reconstruction...)
For reference, I had it done at a place in Apgujeong.
