I’m two months post-op after nasal tip surgery at a plastic surgery clinic. My nose was operated on only at the tip, using septal cartilage and ear cartilage. I’d had a complex about my nose for a long time, so I had been maintaining my nasal bridge and nasal tip with a Hiko procedure. Since I was getting eye surgery, I thought I might as well do it together and went in for a consultation. The Hiko threads in my nasal bridge were holding up well, so I decided to leave the bridge as it was and have cartilage inserted only into the nasal tip. The director recommended a height that suited my nose without overdoing it, so I trusted him and went ahead with the surgery. I’m easily scared, so before surgery I looked up over 100 reviews about side effects and things like that, but now I think I’m glad I did it. Recovery was so fast that the time I spent worrying so much at first feels almost pointless, and now I’m doing well without any discomfort. It’s only been two months, but they said it takes about six months for it to really become my own nose shape. Right now, only I can see it, but because of the slight residual swelling in my cheeks, there seems to be a small difference in height and also a difference in nostril size, but for now I’m going to wait and see. Today again, I’m waiting for the day when, as time passes, it naturally settles into my face ~~!!
