Before/after Hi everyone~ My surgery was today, and even until yesterday I was still debating which surgical method to choose. In the end, after meeting the director, they said they recommended incision more, so I chose the incisional method! I got incisional double eyelid surgery + ptosis correction + medial and upper epicanthoplasty! I did choose a semi-out line, but they said it could later get covered and become an in-out line.
In the morning, since it was my first surgery ever, I guess my nerves got bigger than my excitement. I didn’t feel that great, and it felt like I just had no thoughts, so I kind of spent the time in a daze and then the surgery was over.
The scheduled surgery time was 11:30, but things got delayed little by little, and it definitely went past 12, but I don’t remember the exact time.
After surgery and recovery (though honestly I just slept so well), it was 3 o’clock when I left the hospital! I was happy that I wasn’t as swollen as I expected, but as time passes it’s getting puffier, and I think I can see bruising starting to come up too.
And the problem is ㅠㅠ the hospital left the ophthalmic ointment off the prescription, so I don’t have any eye ointment ㅠㅠ The pharmacies near my house don’t have that ointment either, and they said they can only fax the prescription on Monday, so even places that said they have medicine with the same ingredient said they can’t do it ㅠㅠ
Will it be okay if I don’t apply the ophthalmic ointment..? I’m anxious for no reason because I don’t have the ointment ㅠㅠ..
