I succeeded, so I’m safely writing this review like this, but honestly, deciding to go through with eye revision took more courage than I expected... When I first had double eyelid surgery, I was still satisfied, but after a few years, the line seemed to loosen more and more. It wasn’t that my double eyelid disappeared completely, but another fold formed inside like multiple eyelid folds, so it actually made my eyes look more stuffyㅜㅜ But then I worried for a long time about whether I’d regret touching something that didn’t really interfere with my life, but my mind was already leaning toward doing it, so I kept looking up double eyelid surgery reviews without even realizing it, hmm... While looking into several hospitals, the place that kept being mentioned a lot in eye surgery reviews was Dress Plastic Surgery. I was especially drawn to the fact that revision was possible even with natural adhesion?? I was already reluctant to have an incision because I was worried about scarring, so when I heard revision could also be done non-incisionally, I was tempted and went for a consultation;; During the consultation, the director looked at my eye condition and said the line could be sufficiently recreated with natural adhesion. When he asked if I had a desired design, I showed a photo of a friend who is basically synonymous with the trendy semi-out line these days (those who know will know... a famous female idol lol). He carefully checked and mapped the line, saying it would come out clear if I also did canthoplasty, so I trusted him and decided to proceed! After the consultation, I felt that if I was going to do it, I should do it properly lolol I still vividly remember lying on the operating table on surgery day, half nervous and half excited... Since it was revision, I was worried it might swell more, but recovery after surgery was easier than I expected. On the first day, of course there was a little swelling and bruising, but for me it was much less than during my first surgery!!! Especially, it was surprising that there was no unsightly blood pooling? Now it’s been 2 weeks and the swelling is going down. I can see my eye shape gradually settling, and getting epicanthoplasty was definitely the decisive move because my eyes look much more open and longer than before!!!! At first I hadn’t even thought about canthoplasty, but the director designed it naturally, so it was just right lolol I really felt that horizontal length matters for creating a more open-looking eye shape... An image that even ptosis correction during my first surgery couldn’t create is finally being made now lolol Also, the good atmosphere at the hospital during surgery left an impression. From the director to the consultant and all the staff, I never felt like they were just doing things carelessly, which was nice!!! I heard Dress is also famous for petit procedures like lip filler and Skinvive, so when I hit a face slump, I’m thinking of trying it once as a mood booster. They say Skinvive is the best for improving skin elasticity and texture, so it’s tempting lol Honestly, during my first surgery, I felt like I vaguely went into it without properly researching anything, but this time I properly understood what my eyes really needed before surgery, and that’s the part I’m most satisfied with. I paid money to learn that surgery isn’t just about drawing a line and calling it done... lolololol Still, thanks to a successful revision at Dress, I’m relieved that I probably won’t have to go as far as another revision after this, and I think I can live well with these eyes. I’m looking forward to how they’ll look once the swelling goes down more!!!
