Hi everyone. I debated whether to write a review of my breast surgery, but I thought there might be people who, like me, are curious about <periareolar incision> surgery and looking for information, so I’m gathering courage and writing this. I had breast surgery in the middle of last year, and now that my recovery is almost fully complete, I’m writing a review. For the implants, I got Motiva Demi, 285 cc on the left and 300 cc on the right, and as I wrote in the title, it was done through a periareolar incision. Before surgery, my breasts were asymmetric and uneven, so on the director’s recommendation, I got slightly different sizes inserted, and I think the surgery matched both sides well. As for the incision location... I also worried a lot at first, but because of my job, I needed a quick recovery, and the fact that a periareolar incision scar is hidden along the areolar border and is less noticeable felt like an advantage to me. From my own experience, recovery after surgery was definitely easier, and now the scar is barely visible. It looks so natural that if I don’t say anything, people wouldn’t know I had surgery, so I’m really satisfied! Even my female friends say it looks natural. I had the surgery with Director Seo Il-beom at Marble, and I heard that if a periareolar incision is done by someone with only a few years of experience, the scar can be more noticeable, so I deliberately found a director with over 20 years of experience. The consultation was very thorough, and because the hospital itself didn’t feel factory-like, I think I was able to receive both the consultation and surgery calmly. When choosing implants, I touched them myself and thought it over enough. After actually having surgery, Motiva really feels like my own breasts, and the texture is good, so I’m satisfied haha. The shape also falls nicely in a U-line, and when I cup them with my hands, they feel even softer? Most of all, the hospital provides a lot of aftercare, so I think I visited happily every time I went for progress checks. Personally, I think a periareolar incision is a method worth considering at least once for people who were worried about scars or recovery. In the end, what matters is carefully considering your own skin type, scarring, and desired shape, and having surgery with the method that fits you best, so I hope you think it through enough before deciding.
