<My eyes almost one month later> Even though the swelling and bruising are all gone, blood isn’t circulating and my eyes are changing color, but I didn’t realize how serious it was. My mind was completely focused only on the lateral canthoplasty problem. I thought the only problem was that one side was restored and the other side wasn’t as much, so they became uneven. But that wasn’t it. They said the double eyelid surgery is actually a huge problem right now. They made an incision at one point and did the double eyelid along that line, so by that logic they didn’t raise the double eyelid, they lowered it, and yet... The lateral canthoplasty is a later problem, and I was bothered that the color of my eyes had turned purple, but I didn’t know it was dangerous. They said they would open up the outer corners, but how can I trust and leave my eyes to a place that made them like this? It’s not only a problem on the outside; I have severe astigmatism, my eyelids only open halfway over my pupils, the stitches inside my eyes are scratching my eyeballs, and I can’t focus properly. Anyone thinking of going to that hospital, please think very carefully before going. I feel like I’m going to develop panic disorder, depression, and everything I never had before.
꺄루루룩 I think you need to talk to the hospital again..ㅠㅠ Have you talked to them???
미지닝 Yeah, they said they’d do the lateral canthoplasty for me. So I went to two other hospitals, and they said the outer corner isn’t the problem right now, the double eyelid surgery is the bigger problem. They said the outer corner absolutely shouldn’t be touched. But the hospital that did it said my eyes turned out so pretty and well ㅠㅠ
아머리아퍼 It really seems like the lateral canthoplasty isn’t the problem, and the double eyelid surgery is. What did the other hospitals say the cause is?
미지닝 They say it carefully, that it isn’t typical. One person told me to come back after 5 months and said it was true that something was done wrong. I had ptosis correction, but my eyes won’t open, and in the end, even though the double eyelids weren’t raised, they said the correction was done wrong. I seriously can’t make eye contact with people. It’s hard to look straight ahead, and my eyes look disgusting.
ㅎㅇㅎㅇ요 Is the very bottom photo from now? Or before surgery????
미지닝 I replaced the photos again because it seemed like some people were confused.
미지닝 It’s okay now. My vision hasn’t fully returned, but it’s gradually getting better. I can drive now and live normally. Since I already had a problem with the correction itself, I think it was good that I had surgery. The muscle at the inner corner of my eye was also damaged, so it took a long time to correct that during surgery ㅠ
미지닝 Yeah, that’s right, you saw it correctly. The outer corners still haven’t been touched. The ptosis correction above was done wrong, so because I had to fix that, I ended up getting early correction elsewhere after more than 3 weeks, and now I have to wait until 6 months later. I’m going to do the lateral canthoplasty again. The stitches poke me, but I can also see the stitches inside the flesh, and it feels like they would come out if I pulled them myself. But if the knot comes undone, it seems like it would be a big problem, so I have to endure it until revision surgery. Both sides sting even when I close and open my eyes. I’m already used to my eyes being disgustingly uneven. I have to wait until revision surgery. I’m doing my best to live day by day ㅠ
미지닝 It was corrected, but I really honestly don’t completely love it or anything. Because the outer corner is blocked, I think I’ll only know once everything is fixed ㅜ Right now the front muscle is damaged, so the upper eyelid area there has sunken in ㅠㅜ
판판눈 Oh my… how are you now? My heart hurts for you ㅜㅜ
