Revision Eye Surgery Consultation Reviews from 4 Clinics

Hello? I went to 4 consultations for revision eye surgery, and this is my review. Please read the reviews too, and let me know if there are any clinics that seem bad! Current eye condition, reason for revision surgery: I had ptosis correction and non-incisional buried suture double eyelid surgery about 7 years ago, but over time the line became thinner, and one eye has loosened much more than the other. Also, an asymmetry issue. Desired eyes: I want them to look natural while raising the line slightly. (Because of my facial image, I prefer an in-out line), no incision, no canthoplasty. I want to touch as little as possible. 1. ㅇㅇㄴㅋ - Head director • No waiting • No pressure to pay a deposit • Consultation with consultant 5 min -> consultation with director 10 min -> consultation with consultant 5 min • Recommended non-incisional surgery, ptosis correction, and upper epicanthoplasty • They said the loosened eye also has weaker eye-opening strength and an epicanthal fold, so they recommended doing ptosis correction a bit more strongly on that side than the other, and upper epicanthoplasty only on the loosened eye. (Maybe they recommended more procedures because they were trying to properly correct the asymmetry.) • Sedation + local anesthesia, 2-year aftercare warranty 2. ㅋㄹ (Apgujeong) • No waiting • No pressure to pay a deposit • Consultation with director 10 min -> consultation with consultant 5 min • Recommended buried suture only • They did not recommend canthoplasty because the reason for the asymmetry is that the shapes of the inner corners of the eyes themselves are different. They said the weak eye-opening strength is very slight, so unless I am overly sensitive, there is no need to do ptosis correction. In other words, raising the line slightly with buried sutures, matching it, and making it more defined. They said there would still be slight asymmetry. • Local anesthesia, 2-year aftercare warranty 3. ㅇㅇㅋㅌ • Waited 10-15 min • No pressure to pay a deposit • Consultation with consultant 5 min -> consultation with director 10 min -> consultant 5 min • Recommended buried suture only • Ptosis correction would be meaningless (too slight) Here, for the first time, they recommended a line between an in-out and semi-out? line to me, someone who only preferred in-out, and it was pretty. It seems like they shape the line well. I personally asked which loosens more easily between in-out and semi-out, and they said the difference is minimal. They told me to just do what I want. When I asked whether incision would be better so it would not loosen easily, they said, since I am not that old, is there really a need? They told me to just do buried sutures and come back later if it loosens. In other words, here too they said they would match the line and that slight asymmetry would remain. • Sedation + local anesthesia, 2-year aftercare warranty 4. ㅇㅇㅍ • Waited 5 min • Deposit.. They said it would be cheaper if I paid a deposit. • Consultation with consultant 5 min -> consultation with director 15 min -> consultation with consultant 5 min • Recommended buried suture only • Here too, they did not recommend ptosis correction. They said the eye-opening strength is similar on both sides, and the reason I feel a difference is that the skin on one side is thicker. Here too, they said incision is not really necessary, and to do it later when I am older. This place did check more than the others to assess the line, whether ptosis correction is needed, etc. • Sedation + local anesthesia, 2-year aftercare warranty I would appreciate it if you could let me know if there are any clinics that seem bad. (bow) End.
