I was worried because there were comments saying the doctor was unfriendly, but they provided a good consultation. It had been over 10 years since my first double eyelid surgery and ptosis correction, so I went to have only the ptosis correction redone while keeping the line the same. Maybe because of that, there wasn’t much to consult about, so the consultation only lasted about 10 minutes. I asked because I wanted lateral canthoplasty, but they said not to do it because it would have no effect due to my bone structure. They showed me papers and things on a PPT and explained dominant eye? or something like that. They also marked the line once. I had seen several before-and-after photos on Instagram before going, and I went because I liked how the line near the inner corner of the eye gently sloped down and became slightly pointed. I said I was worried that, because my endothelial cell count had decreased as a side effect of implantable contact lens surgery, it might drop further during double eyelid surgery, and they said it was unrelated. For now, I trusted them because they knew about ICL side effects, and I somehow felt like they would pay more attention?, so if I do it, I’m thinking of doing it here. The price was also not as bad as I expected.
