It’s been about 2-3 years since I had laser hair removal, but hair still hasn’t grown back, so I’m posting a review I had it done at Dr. Tunes Clinic in front of Exit 12 of Banwoldang in Daegu, formerly Mi Clinic I remember it being either 150,000 won or 180,000 won for 5 sessions The equipment was Apogee Plus/Clarity II? I think My hair condition was I was extremely coarse-haired and had a lot of hair Think Ryu Seung-bum/Noh Hong-chul. It grew densely exactly along that kind of jawline shape The clinic was very clean and spacious. They were also kind Hair removal was done factory-style, gathering hair-removal patients? at certain time slots and doing them all at once But the thoroughness varied depending on the teachers who fired the laser Some did the entire skin area, but they weren’t meticulous (not that they were doing it carelessly, just felt more surface-level?) Others fired the laser extremely meticulously and stretched the skin while doing it? very carefully After laser hair removal, for 1-3 days the hair becomes stiff and shaving doesn’t work well either Then after 1 week, the hair naturally falls out in patches But strangely, it doesn’t fall out evenly overall Certain areas fall out in round clumps The hair-removal effect was definite, but it took a long time I think it took about 25 sessions total and around 3 years Hair removal was completed perfectly, and even though 2-3 years have passed, it still hasn’t grown back (But recently, because of chin silicone implant insertion surgery, maybe because I had an incision inside my mouth and recovered, hair suddenly grew on my chin. But it’s thin, and it seems like it would all disappear with just one laser session. I think maybe something about skin regeneration also regenerated the hair follicles) But there were some hairs that just wouldn’t be removed until the end The hairs right in the very center of my chin didn’t disappear even after more than 25 sessions. I asked the clinic, and they said there are hairs that don’t disappear After that, I stopped going (also because it was annoying, and because it seemed like no more was falling out) Later, depending on the situation, I’m planning to wipe them all out with GentleMax Pro Conclusion, A clinic that uses Apogee Plus and Clarity II equipment is cheap, so it’s good to do it for the low price But the effect is weaker compared with GentleMax Pro, so you have to go for a long time It seems cost-effective for the price However, if you don’t want to go for a long time and want to get rid of everything at once, I don’t recommend it
