I had nasal tip surgery done together when I got double eyelid surgery, but it kept drooping and made my midface look long, which bothered me. After thinking about it for around 3 years, I eventually decided to have surgery. I looked through all kinds of plastic surgery cafes, this community, and plastic surgery apps, did diligent online research for 3 months, chose about 5 places that seemed skilled, and went for in-person consultations. When I visited the hospital, they took a CT scan first, then I consulted with the counseling manager. Unlike the managers I’d met so far, she was kind in a different way and treated me so comfortably, like an older sister I knew. She immediately understood the parts I was concerned about, so I felt trust. There was no pressure to make a same-day reservation. Instead, she asked about my other consultation schedule and told me to take plenty of time to think because it’s an important surgery and something I should consider carefully, which I appreciated..ㅜ The director said he was sorry to have kept me waiting even though the consultation wait time wasn’t long, and from that point I felt that the director truly treats patients sincerely. He’s so well known for rhinoplasty, so I went with high expectations, and he also told me things I didn’t know about my nose. He took front-view photos and even photos of me smiling, then immediately checked the part where my nose becomes arrow-shaped when I smile, and explained the surgical plan in detail and in an easy-to-understand way. He also showed me the expected post-surgery result with Photoshop, and it was exactly the line I wanted, so I was even more satisfiedㅎ Throughout the consultation, I really just kept saying “Ah~ aha~,” and it felt like I was learning about my own nose before leaving,, He didn’t seem to worry about the time at all during the consultation and explained every question in detail. I was so grateful because it felt like he sincerely treats each patient. I liked that the director handles the aftercare too, that he only performs two surgeries a day, and that during surgery a guardian can watch the CCTV in real time from outside. The consultation itself was also the most satisfying, so I chose the hospital with confidence. My surgery is coming up soon, and I’ll definitely leave a post-surgery review too
