7 years after LASEK

I heard that now, as that hospital has expanded and added more doctors, they no longer handle LASIK or LASEK at all and only do surgeries like cataract surgery. But about 7 years ago, it was a one-doctor clinic, and in our area it was considered one of the best, so I went there. I lived with 1.5 vision until my senior year of high school, and even though I hadn't suddenly grown taller or changed my lifestyle, as soon as I became an adult my vision dropped to 0.7-0.8. People usually said that was eyesight you could just live with, but I couldn't adjust and felt so frustrated, so I went ahead with LASEK. During the week I wore the bandage contact lenses, my eyes really stung so much and hurt so badly that I wondered if I had done it for nothing. I vividly remember running to the ophthalmology clinic first thing in the morning on the one-week mark ㅠㅠ But as soon as they removed the bandage contact lenses, the pain disappeared like magic, and I'm still living with my vision maintained at around 1.0. But I don't know if this is a side effect, my dry eye became really severe, and sometimes if I rub my eyes and accidentally rub them the wrong way, it hurts so much I can't even open my eyes ㅠ But I can't clearly express what that feeling of "rubbing them wrong" is, and it happens only very occasionally, so I've never gone to the hospital to ask. I'm curious whether there are people like me after LASEK. Sometimes even when opening my eyes in the morning, it hurt so much I couldn't open them.. (very occasionally ..) Still, I really recommend LASEK ㅠㅠㅠ
