The buried-suture double-eyelid surgery I had after the CSAT came undone after 6 years, so I had revision incisional double-eyelid surgery at Divine! I went around to 4 places for consultations, and the reasons I ultimately chose Divine were: 1. The consultant only provides guidance, and all design and consultation are done directly by the director. 2. The director clearly tells you yes! or no!, which helped me choose the revision-surgery design. 3. Since it wasn’t a factory-style clinic and the director personally checked everything, I could have surgery in a comfortable and calm atmosphere. On the day of surgery, I arrived 30 minutes early, and the surgery took about 1 hour. After surgery, I came home with taping on so the double-eyelid line would settle well. (Day of surgery~Day 2) After surgery, there was some bleeding from the incision site, and after discharge, I had bleeding at home until Day 2. I only gently wiped away the blood that was running, applied ointment well, and endured it while doing warm compresses. (Day 3) From Day 3, the bleeding stopped, but because of the scabs, there was a strong feeling of the stitches pulling. At that time, I lightly moistened a cotton swab with saline and gently removed only the scabs that were pulling. After the bleeding stopped, bruising appeared, and I did a lot of warm compresses to help the bruises go away quickly. (Day 4~Day 5) As the swelling and bruising went down, the line gradually started to show. I alternated warm and cold compresses to reduce the bruising and swelling, and I applied medication frequently so the incision area wouldn’t dry out. (Day 6~Day 7) The bruising had almost disappeared, and I did cold compresses all day to reduce the remaining swelling. Since it was revision surgery for a double eyelid that had come undone on only one side, I was worried about correcting the asymmetry between both eyes, but as the swelling went down, the double-eyelid lines matched up. (The day the stitches were removed) After visiting the clinic and having the stitches removed, the swelling went down noticeably day by day. The clinic also said the line came out well, and especially that the asymmetry was aligning well. Scarring and bruising still remain on the incision line.
